The Boston Celtics valiantly fought against Toronto without Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, and Marquis Daniels. (And without Bill Walker, though that was for other reasons spelled simply: DNP-CD.)
After a very solid team performance led to a victory, it was thought the Celtics wouldn’t have to play another game without all those players; it was thought at least either Pierce or Rondo would return for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
The latest update, though, says the C’s are preparing for Wednesday’s game as if all the players who missed last game will again be unavailable.
Celtics preparing as if Rondo, Pierce, and KG will not be available Wednesday. Pierce expected to update his progress tomorrow.
I keep waiting for the C’s injury problems to get better but, so far at least, nothing gives.
The outlook keeps looking more and more grim.
