According to the Miami Herald, Rafer Alston plans to sign with Miami after being bought out of his contract by the New Jersey Nets.

Back in the day, whenever I head Alston’s name I would think, “Skip to my Lou.”

Now, when I hear Alston’s name, I think, “That’s what happens when you start bustin’ somebody’s ass.”

Unfortunately, we won’t get to see House-Alston round two tonight: House is sick with the flu, and Alston won’t be able to sign with the Heat until Thursday, when he becomes eligible to clear waivers.
