Zaza Pachulia is funny?

I know the Hawks are the enemy tonight. I know the Celtics, and especially Kevin Garnett, have bad blood with Zaza Pachulia.

I think KG told Zaza he didn't like his scarf.

But, somehow, I can’t help but like Zaza. I have a couple reasons for liking him. First, despite being a foreigner playing in the NBA, Zaza is a rugged fellow. He throws his body around and plays the game with passion and toughness… and I admire that. Even if his chippy play is sometimes directed towards the Celtics, I’m a sucker for guys who play with their hearts on their sleeves and always play their hardest. On top of that, his accent makes him seem even tougher, like he’s some foreign mobster or something.

Secondly, Zaza’s funny. Funny, you say? That big, goofy goon… funny?

Yup. Once again, Zaza endeared himself to me at Garnett’s expense. Check out this video:

“Vut’s that? You vant me to headbutt Kevin Garnett ag-aine?”

That is some funny stuff (and so is the scarf, over the jersey, over the long black tee)… but do you want to know what’s even funnier?

That he guaranteed a win earlier in the clip.
