Vacation Alert: Be back tomorrow night

Since I started Celtics Town, I’m pretty sure I’ve posted at least one column or blog post every single day. I’ve been pretty dedicated to bringing our readers as much Celtics-related reading as I can, and to improving my site in an attempt to become one of the better Celtics blogs on the internet.

Hopefully, I don't end up like this. But if I try anything other than the bunny slopes, I might.

But there’s a first time for everything. This weekend, I’m actually taking off to Vermont to do a little skiing with my family and my girlfriend.

Am I a good skier? No, absolutely not. I’m a basketball player, remember? Us basketball players don’t have time to ski, until we’ve hung up the high-tops. I’ll be on the bunny slopes, trying not to embarrass myself… or at least to make my way down the hill in one piece.

I’ll be back tomorrow night, sometime after Celtics-Raptors has been concluded. I already have my t.v. set to record the game, so I’ll certainly have analysis coming on Monday, but for now, it’s time to take my first break since the summer.

I wish I didn’t have to, but I will have no internet connection where I’m going… and it’s kind of hard to post things on the internet with no internet connection.

In the meantime, Jim will still be providing his Maine Red Claws columns (and maybe a Celtics post or two), but my brother and I will be busy freezing our asses off and making fools of ourselves up in Vermont.

The beauty of these blogging engines and CMS platforms is the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that allows developers to implement rich content and ‘skin’ the site in such a way that with very little effort one would never notice what it is making the site tick all without limiting content and effectiveness.

Though I would’ve loved it much more if you added a relevant video or at least pictures to back up the explanation, I still thought that your write-up quite helpful. It’s usually hard to make a complicated matter seem very easy. I enjoy your weblog and will sign up to your feed so I will not miss anything. Fantastic content
