Rasheed Wallace will sit tonight

No shocker here.  A couple days after saying he might be out for a week, Rasheed Wallace will sit out tonight’s game against New Jersey, according to the Boston Globe.

Wallace, whose left foot began bothering him after Sunday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, will likely be supplanted in the starting lineup by Brian Scalabrine.

Scal, who played his best game of the season in Monday’s loss to Atlanta, will look to continue his strong play from the other night.

The Celtics injury ward just doesn’t seem to get any less populated.
