Via the ever-informative Maine Red Claws Twitter account comes word that the Claws have made a roster move, adding 6’0″ point guard Chris Lowe.

Lowe, a New York native, played for UMass-Amherst. He also played 10 games for the Springfield Armor earlier this season, averaging 5PPG. Despite being an obvious hometown favorite, he didn’t see a great deal of time. He will likely not be starting, however, as Will Blalock and Billy Thomas have secure positions as the Red Claws’ starting guards.

He is expected to be in Maine for Friday’s game against the Armor.
