I hope China’s got some vaseline
Marbury said before the season that he was going to focus on bigger and better things than basketball. (You know, when he wasn’t stuffing his face with vaseline, doing strip teases in front of a camera, or smoking weed in front of a national audience.)
The Post’s article seems to imply that Marbury isn’t making this deal to play basketball; he’s doing it to market “Starbury’s” in China.
Wang added that Marbury’s salary would not be too high because the former New Jersey Nets and Phoenix Suns player wanted to promote his personal brand of shoes in China.
After everything Marbury’s done to be in the news this season, it’s hard to imagine he was a Celtic only last year.
