Highlight Reel: Deron Washington can sky

As a mere mortal, I can perform a 360 dunk only if I jump off a trampoline.  Make that a bouncy trampoline.  A really bouncy trampoline.  To get high enough to spin before you dunk it, an unathletic shrimp like myself needs an extra boost.

But even on a really, really bouncy trampoline, I couldn’t do what Deron Washington does in this highlight.  Not only does he do a 360, but he does it the wrong way, and while putting the ball between his legs.  What’s the wrong way?  Try doing a 360 on a 6-foot rim.  You’ll intuitively spin one way.  He goes the other.

He can also jump over Greg Paulus, and Danny Green, but this 360 between-the-legs dunk is the most impressive I’ve seen from Mr. Washington.

Great article. There’s a lot of good information here, though I did want to let you know something – I am running Mac OS X with the circulating beta of Firefox, and the design of your blog is kind of quirky for me. I can read the articles, but the navigation doesn’t function so good.

Good blog. I got a lot of good info. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s intriguing how it keeps changing, yet some of the core components remain the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the domain?
