Highlight Reel: Remember Slamball?

Do you remember Slamball?

To tell you the truth, I don’t even know if it’s still on television anymore. I stopped watching long before the league folded… if it folded. Slamball sucked.

But it could have been awesome. Guys just dunking on each other, left and right. Not just normal dunks either; front-flip dunks, 720 dunks, back-flip dunks. Even the occasional double- or triple- alley-oop. Off trampolines!

Isn’t that what a lot of people dream basketball would evolve into? Okay, not basketball purists, but some other people? Just a dunkfest, with highlight after highlight? It could have been pretty damn cool.

Especially if more dunks like this had happened.
