Celtics still want Nate Robinson?

Nate Robinson could be a Celtic? Does that mean we'd have to be reminded of that slam dunk contest all the time? (Photo by Nathaniel S. Butler/NBAE via Getty Images)

Nate Robinson isn’t just the winner of a slam dunk contest that could have been won by Paul Pierce… when Pierce was in a wheelchair during that L.A. series. Robinson could also be a prime target of the Boston Celtics as the end of trade season nears.

Via Newsday’s Alan Hahn:

Along with McGrady talks, Walsh will be busy before 2/18. Word is Celtics are still very interested in Nate Robinson.

I like Robinson as a replacement for Eddie House. He’s a similarly sized player, but brings a lot more to the table.

Now, if he could only work on recruiting Lebron to next year’s dunk contest.

They let him off easy! I say they should lock him up for life! We can’t let these god damned water kickers run free in the streets!
