Kobe Bryant doubtful for Celtics game tomorrow night
Wait, the Celtics play the Lakers tomorrow night? You mean there’s more to the NBA season than just trade rumors?
Yup, tomorrow night the Celtics will play their most hated and respected rivals, but the Lakers might be without their ringleader. Kobe Bryant has told the Boston Herald he won’t play if he still feels like he does today, although he did leave the door open if his health changes between now and then. His injury is classified as a strained peroneal tendon.
Kobe wasn’t the only one saying interesting things at today’s practice. Pau Gasol had this to say about Kevin Garnett:
“I don’t know exactly what’s going on with him. I think he’s struggling. I think he’s physically limited obviously. That’s all I know; that’s all I see and all I heard.
“He competes. He’s still a competitor and he still plays, but I still feel like he’s limited. Otherwise he would be contributing a lot more.”
Nothing Earth-shattering there. Anyone with half a working eye can see that Garnett is physically limited.
