Pierce ‘almost certainly out’, Daniels could join him

Some bad news from the Celtics Twitter account:

Marquis Daniels missed practice with the flu, and Doc says Paul Pierce is almost certainly out tomorrow night vs. Cleveland.

The Boston Globe gives more about Daniels’ availability for tomorrow:

Daniels could be available for the game but Pierce, who also has a sprained thumb, is likely out.

A. Sherrod Blakely adds:

No Pierce or Marquis Daniels at practice today. Both showed up, looked sick to Doc so he sent them home.

Uh-oh.  That means Tony Allen will have to play 40 minutes or so against the league’s best player.  Can the Celtics just forfeit now?

Marquis, get some rest, drink some fluids, and make sure you spare us the pain of watching TA against Lebron tomorrow night.
