Marcus Landry assigned to the D-League

Marcus Landry, the other player involved in the Nate Robinson-Knicks trade, has been assigned to the D-League to play for the Maine Red Claws, according to the Boston Celtics Twitter page.

No, those aren't goggles...that's Marcus Landry' hard hat.

Marcus Landy was a former Big 10 standout, playing four years at Wisconsin.  In both his junior and senior seasons, Landry  was named Second Team All-Big 10, and became the 18th player in school history to record at least 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds.  Despite his prolific college career, Landry went undrafted before cracking the New York Knicks 15-man roster this season.

Marcus Landry is the brother of Sacramento King Carl Landry, who played his college ball at Purdue and has been successful playing for the Houston Rockets. With the help of his brother, Carl, Marcus has shown the attitude, and work-ethic to become a valued NBA player and Celtics Town roots for his success.
