Perkins to sit out tonight’s game

Kendrick Perkins will miss tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to a sore left knee, according to Chris Forsberg.  Rasheed Wallace will start in his place.

Kendrick Perkins is inactive for tonight’s game vs. Kings. Waiting for details from Celtics.

Sore left knee for Perk. The start goes to … wait for it, wait for it… Rasheed Wallace.

At least it’s only the Kings.  Let’s hope Perk’s knee isn’t too bad.

UPDATE: CelticsBlog reporter Jimmy Toscano says the injury is nothing serious.

Kendrick Perkins out with “sore left knee” nothing drastic, according to celtics media relations. More rest than anything else.
