I don’t know why I’m ever surprised by Charles Barkley anymore. After all the things he’s done over the years, including calling his producer a certain word that rhymes with “wussy” on live television, I shouldn’t be shocked by anything he does.

But last night, I saw Barkley’s middle finger come out of nowhere, and I was stunned, all over again, by Chuck’s willingness to say whatever, whenever, wherever. Yet, nobody is ever mad about Chuck’s stunts. We’re simply impressed.
