Perk: The torch has been passed to Rondo

Kendrick Perkins says the torch is being passed to Rajon Rondo.  (Boston Herald)

“I think it’s more the Big Three taking more of a back seat to him this year,” Perkins said. “They have let him be himself. They’re passing the torch to him a bit. You can see them stepping back a bit out there.”

It’s a good thing they’re stepping back, and not to the side.  We all know Kevin Garnett is having a lot of trouble moving to the side these days.

But seriously, this team is Rajon Rondo’s.  He has, in my eyes, become the Celtics’ best, most consistent player.

What do you guys think?
