Kurt Thomas put a little extra mustard on a hard foul yesterday, shoving Glen Davis to the floor. As is his tendency against the Milwaukee Bucks, Davis got up off the floor and did some odd shoulder-bump/head-butt thing.
Davis was upset by Thomas’ flagrant foul, but yesterday wasn’t the first time Thomas has been a little over-aggressive against an opposing player. Julian Benbow wrote a fun piece about Thomas’s enforcer mentality, and included a couple YouTube clips of Thomas in his younger days. One of them had Thomas with a nice open-court tackle against Dennis Rodman.
