Kevin Garnett: Celtics can still improve
Kevin Garnett said the Boston Celtics still have some areas they can improve, even after jumping to a 3-0 lead in their series with the Miami Heat. (ESPNBoston)
“You have to anticipate this being like a desperation game — all out for them,” said Garnett. “You can’t anticipate nothing more, nothing less. We have to be solid. We watched film today and there were a lot of errors that we could clean up and we will. At this point, it’s just coming out, continuing to move the ball, share the ball, and play defense for 48 minutes.”
Garnett is right about being able to improve on certain aspects of the game, but they have already improved drastically upon their regular season play. The Celtics have the Heat on the ropes, and they know it.
“That’s our mentality right now, we’ve got a team on the ropes, and we don’t want to give them any more confidence,” said Pierce.
Later he added: “I’m a big fan of boxing and I’ve seen boxers lose 11 rounds, then knock a guy out in the 12th round. Anything is possible, like Kevin [Garnett] says. I don’t want to leave anything behind. We don’t plan on coming back to South Beach, probably until the summer.”
“We don’t plan on coming back to South Beach, probably until the summer.” Something tells me the C’s won’t. If they do, it would mean Miami won two straight games to send the series to a Game Six. After the Heat got their hearts taken out in Game Three, I doubt they’ll even steal one win.

Nice to be focused on positives in Celtic-Nation right now, isn’t it?
I forgot what it felt like.
