After telling the Celtics radio broadcasters that he had a heart-to-heart with Wallace in the showers sometime before Game 2, Kevin Garnett was asked how exactly he woke Wallace up. KG chuckled at the question Thursday, then playfully announced, “I slapped his ass!”

That would certainly elicit a “pause,” but I’m not sure the joke is much more pause-worthy than the real story: That KG and Sheed had a heart-to-heart in the shower after Game One.

Either way, let’s hope KG slaps Sheed’s ass again tonight.
