I’ve got a confession to make: I didn’t watch last night’s game carefully. It was the first time all season I didn’t sit down with my notepad and watch the Celtics. I know there aren’t any excuses for half-assing a huge Game Three, but at least I gave a much better performance than the Magic. And while there aren’t excuses for my weak performance, I graduated college yesterday. It was time to celebrate, and the Celtics’ ‘W’ was the icing on the cake.
But anyway, there was a point to me telling you I didn’t pay too much attention. I looked up from a beer pong game just in time to see Stan Van Gundy get truck-sticked by Kevin Garnett. If you thought it was funny while you were watching intently, it was far funnier when I glanced up from my drinking game and completely unexpectedly saw Garnett give SVG the good ole Troy Polamalu. In the name of Gus Johnson’s epic pause, I’ve always wanted to see Stan Van Gundy get plowed by an NBA player. In a completely non-sexual way, of course. For all you sickos out there, I’m not interested in that type of thing.
