Former NBA all-star Antoine Walker has filed for bankruptcy.

In Chapter 7 documents filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida last week, Walker reported having $4.3 million in assets and $12.7 million in liabilities.

More financial problems for ‘Toine.  Sad, sad, sad.

Call me a sucker, but I still love Walker. (By the way, I’m also still an enormous fan of Nomar, Pedro, and Manny. Actually, I’m still a huge fan of just about anybody who’s ever been a Boston sports star and isn’t named Drew Bledsoe.) Walker was frustrating at times, but he loved the Celtics and bled Green. When I was younger, I used to do the Walker Wiggle during my games. I emulated Walker, wanted to be just like him.

Not anymore. Now I just wish I could help him.
