I haven’t seen a coach so hustle-riffic since Jeff Van Gundy entered the fray of a fight only to get clocked by his own player. But Doc’s hustle wasn’t the story of this timeout, no way. Not when Scal was right behind Doc, ready to show Doc some love for the timeout call that came just in the nick of time (seven seconds of the eight-second violation had already passed). I loved Scal grabbing Doc’s shoulders, but what really got me was the fanny smack. There’s nothing that makes me smile more than a good, manly smack on the toosh.
