Kendrick Perkins drafted by Red Sox…no, seriously
Kendrick Perkins has been drafted in the sixth round of today’s MLB Draft, by the Boston Red Sox.
No, it isn’t the 6’11, muscle-bound center for the Boston Celtics: It’s a high school baseball player out of La Porte High School, Texas. This website says his player comparison is Carl Crawford.
I bet the new Kendrick Perkins scowls, picks up technical fouls for fun and enjoys stopping Dwight Howard on days when he isn’t stroking home runs. Let’s just hope he doesn’t have to stop, bring the ball down and gather himself before throwing an opponent out at the plate.

Great story but incorrect pic. For the correct “new” Kendrick Perkins, please visit:

Thank you. I switched it. That’s weird, got that picture off ESPN and the caption said Kendrick Perkins, La Porte High School, Texas.
