Goddamn, the Celtics needed Kevin Garnett to snap out of his funk. And then he did and — wham — everyone else decided to take the night off. Can’t the Celtics just fire on all cylinders at one time? If the Big Four ever have a game where they each put it together, the Celtics will be beyond scary. Until then, they’re very beatable.
Anyway, here’s the star of Game 3 doing his thing.
Even though all these plays were in the first half, Garnett hardly faded down the stretch. He worked Pau Gasol out all. night. long.
It’s just too bad Derek Fisher got loose towards the end of the game, because Garnett finally found out how to beat Gasol: Stop settling for jumpers and go right at the big Spaniard.
