I never thought Sheed would play so hard
I’m not struck by the physicality between the two players. I’m far more struck by how hard Rasheed is playing. All regular season long, when he was barely crossing halfcourt on offense, hardly rotating on defense, and bricking every shot he took, we all hated Rasheed. But he hasn’t just become a reliable player in this postseason — he’s become a guy who should be a legitimate fan favorite, busting his ass on every possession for the sake of his team. He’s evolved into a taller, more talented P.J. Brown who will do anything to help his team win (well, besides maintaining his composure after fouling Kobe Bryant).
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m really starting to enjoy Rasheed Wallace. Effort don’t lie.
