I hope everything's alright.

According to Chris Forsberg, Ray Allen was excused from today’s practice to deal with a family matter.

Forsberg also reported that Ray is expected to play in Game 5 despite the family issue. I hope everything’s alright with Ray’s fam. As much as it doesn’t seem like it, there actually are a few things a lot more important than a Celtics-Lakers NBA Finals.

UPDATE: Despite being excused, Allen participated in the entire practice session. I hope that means his family will be okay and whatever it was wasn’t too serious.
