Gaffney is living the absolute dream. For a kid who grew up with Havlicek’s shoes and a parquet floor in his fucking bedroom, I’d have to think playing for the Celtics and potentially getting a championship ring is about as good as it gets. I’m still waiting for my own Celtics dream to come true, but I think I’m gonna have to grow about 7 or 8 inches and work on my handle a little bit to make it happen.
