Doc Rivers present at pre-draft workouts

I have no effing idea whether this means anything in regards to his future, but Doc Rivers has been present at the Celtics’ pre-draft workouts in Waltham. (ESPN)

Boston Celtics director of basketball operations Danny Ainge told ESPN.com Wednesday that he wants coach Doc Rivers to spend more time on his decision whether to return next season.

Ainge said Rivers is still down after Boston’s Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals last Thursday and that he didn’t want Rivers to make an emotional decision. Rivers was in Waltham, Mass., with Ainge on Wednesday for a draft workout.

Is that a good sign? No big deal? Again, I have no idea. The only thing it definitely tells us is that Doc hasn’t decided to retire yet. But, we already knew that.So why am I even telling you this? Just thought it warranted mentioning, I guess.

Now, back to watching this tennis match. It’s 39-39 in the fifth set as I write this. Insane. That’s like a basketball game go to 24 overtimes.
