Celtics watch Adam Morrison work out

(“When I get to the NBA, more people will cry.”)

From Kwame Brown to Adam Morrison. The latest draft bust the Celtics might be interested in wears a mustache, loves Halo and probably smokes four or five packs a day. (Alex Kennedy, HoopsWorld)

Adam Morrison workout getting ready to start. The Bulls, Celtics, Clippers, and Cavaliers are among the teams in the building.

Free agents Al Harrington and Melvin Ely are also participating in the workout.

Before you get too excited about the prospects of Morrison joining the Celtics, Kennedy also had another tweet.

Glen Davis, Rudy Gay, Austin Daye, Damon Jones, Quincy Douby, and Tyronn Lue have also been coming and going, putting up shots.

It’s quite possible the Celtics aren’t at all interested in Morrison, Harrington or Ely. That their representative(s) are there with Lue to watch and work out Davis. So unless you hear something else, don’t consider suicide just yet. Morrison is millions of miles away from a sealed deal.

I didn’t report any what ifs. They watched him work out. It’s true. I just don’t know if they were there to see him lol.

Minimum contract? Yep, I’d give it a shot.

I dunno. There are about a million guys I’d rather have playing for the Celtics next year.

Fair enough. Just saying, all else fails, and we can grab him on a minimum contract (which is <1mil by the way, since he's only been in the league 4 years) then ya, do it.

Actually I take that back, I’d rather see them give that min deal to Gaffney if there going to keep a 6’8 guy who hasn’t proven any ability to play in the NBA yet… least they know Gaffney will work hard.

Exactly. Morrison was once a good basketball player. Of course, I was once in shape. Things change.

    Exactly what I was thinking!

Gafney at least will brng it every single game and you can sign him to a non guaranteed deal! There’s no risk involved, and he can go to the D League if he struggles. He’s a no risk guy who’ll play his butt off! Keep TG! He’s long, athletic, smart, and will give 100% all the time!

Forget this freak with his mop top and molester stache!

Please keep Toney, and maybe even Lafayette if we’ve got room! They’ll be better than this Duesh!
