The Heat are the least of Rajon Rondo’s concerns
Add Rajon Rondo to the list of Celtics who don’t give a damn about the Miami Heat (or at least act like they don’t). (Boston Herald)
“To be honest, I don’t know who they’ve added to that team beyond those three guys,” Rondo said. [...]
“I think we can win it all with who we have,” he said. [...]
“Miami is the least of my concerns right now,” he said. “I feel that our biggest opponent every night is ourselves. I don’t think that ever changes.
“I know everyone is out there making trades and trying to change their teams, but we can just worry about ourselves – that’s all. Then we’ll be all right.”
Do you think Rondo really has no idea who else the Heat signed? I find it tough to believe, but I love his arrogance. Eff the Heat. Eff the SuperFriends. Eff everyone but the Celtics.

He is. I love that about him. He thinks he’s the best and nobody can tell him otherwise.

This is the same guy who said that he never watched the NBA prior to joining it or something like that, and that he never idolized any NBA player growing up. So I guess it does make sense that he couldn’t care less about what the Heat is up to.

He’s the best. He either doesn’t give a damn about what anyone else does or pretends not to give a damn. Either way, it’s entertaining.
