Watch Rajon Rondo’s Team USA scrimmage at 10:00 ET

You can watch Rajon Rondo’s Team USA scrimmage at 10:00 ET tonight on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3. The scrimmage will help determine who gets cut from the team. (ESPN)
The team hierarchy was still saying Friday that the plan is to head into training camp with 14 or 15 players, though it left itself a ton of wiggle room. So don’t be surprised if that number is as high as 16 after the cuts are made sometime next week.
After originally predicting that Rondo would get cut from the team, Chris Sheridan now lists Rondo as one of 11 players who are no longer on the bubble. It looks more and more like Rondo will make the team. And I know you could spend tonight drinking, partying and creeping on some ladies who barely even know you exist, but you should probably watch the scrimmage instead.

Rondo struggled in the inter-squad scrimmage. Not that it means much. Like Fran Frischilla said, it was really just a show for the fans, but Rondo was passive and turned the ball over too much. Derrick Rose thoroughly outplayed him. That being said, it’s hard to run the point in a scrimmage like this. The other team knows all your plays, yet it’s your job to run those plays because that’s what the coaches want out of the scrimmage.

The way the two teams played last night, I’m not sure even Rondo’s team knew his team’s plays.
