Nate Robinson: “I don’t think anything of [Miami's] Big Three”

Nate Robinson really loves the state of Washington.

Nate Robinson took part in a live chat on seattletimes.com on Monday, answering questions about the Boston Celtics, his time in Seattle, his collegiate basketball and football careers, and much more.

Robinson is truly a one of a kind character, and he revealed some very interesting stories I’d never heard before. Robinson talked about an epic water ballon fight he started at Washington, his father’s playing days as a star running back at Washington, his passion for acting, and  his obsession with Twitter, Will Ferrell, and all things Seattle.

With Robinson, Glen Davis, and Shaq on the same team, the Celtics locker room is going to be circus-like. I sympathize with Doc Rivers’ situation. How in the hell is he going to be able to keep all three of these guys focused during practice? They may be professional athletes, but they are goofy teenagers at heart. I see pre-game dance offs, Shaq vs. Big Baby wrestling matches, and all types of shenanigans. Covering this team is going to be different from covering any other professional sports team.

Robinson is just as excited as I am about the possibilities:

Nate, how do you feel about the Shaq signing?

Nate Robinson: It’s gonna be awesome. I watched his movies, “Kazaam,” “The Man of Steel,” “Blue Chips.” Now we can do Shaq vs. Nate Robinson.

Nate Robinson: The best center of all-time.

Shaq vs. Nate Robinson  would be great, except Shaq would probably want it to be a boxing match. You know, considering he fought Oscar de La Hoya and challenged puny Jim Rome to a fight.

But, most importantly, when asked about Miami, Robinson toed the line and dismissed them completely.

Nate Robinson: I don’t think anything of The Big Three. We have the original Big Three. We got a nice solid team. WORD AAPP!

I love how little respect the guys have shown for the revamped Heat. The Celtics are fully confident that they are the best team in the East and feel disrespected by all this talk about the ‘new big three.” The East still runs through us, and if the Heat want the crown their going to have to take it. Nothing given, nothing handed out.

Anyways, if you’re surfing the web at home, or trying to avoid doing some work, check out the live chat. Nate will have you laughing.

All their shenanigans will stop when they’ll hear KG’s primal roar, notifying them to cut the BS
