Rajon Rondo, I hope you’re reading this crap

"Coach, that's Derrick Rose right there! Take me out of the game! NOW!!"
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles F. Gardner writes that Rajon Rondo withdrew from Team USA because he was afraid of Derrick Rose’s strong play. Reporters these days. They’re SO smart.
And even though this group has been dubbed a ‘B’ team, it still may have enough talent to give the U.S. its first world championship since 1994. Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant has emerged as the leader of a young U.S. team, and Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose has seized the starting point guard role and given indications he could be a huge factor for the team during the 2012 London Olympics. In fact, Rose’s strong play led Boston guard Rajon Rondo to make a last-minute withdrawal from the squad before the final cut was made earlier this week.”
Ah, why didn’t I think of this?!?!? Rondo was clearly afraid of Rose. And why wouldn’t he be??? Rondo has been having nightmares about Rose ever since the 2009 playoffs. Rose dominated Rondo so badly that series that Rondo only averaged 19.4 points, 11.6 assists and 9.3 rebounds: not even a triple double! And when Rondo had his one bad game during the Team USA tryout period, against Lithuania, Rose was busy destroying every Lithuanian in his path. Rose looked like the best point guard in the world that day, setting the world on fire with 2 points and 3 assists! I’m surprised they didn’t name a wing in the Hall of Fame after him because of that masterpiece.
Look, I may have thrown out a couple theories about why Rondo is no longer with Team USA but I don’t actually know the reason. However, I CAN tell you this much: It’s not that he was worried about Derrick Rose’s strong play. I doubt if Rajon Rondo is afraid of a single thing this world has to offer.

This reporter’s theory is baseless and a joke. Not worth even mentioning it’s so absurd. Rondo is fearless and his play and swagger consistently show that. Glad he’s a Celtic! Go Cs…

The publisher’s clearly upset, haha. Rose only played 8 minutes in the 2 pt., 3 assist game you referenced. You’re a terrible writer, and you come across as bitter and indignant.

Why thank you. I must be a whole lot worse than the writer who said Rondo is afraid of Rose.

Oh yeah! You’ve got it now! Rondo’s terrified there Dee. He’s pissing his pants! Even though he is considered to be 3rd only to D-Will and CP3, he must be really afraid of a guy who can’t shoot, doesn’t pass even close to as good as he does, can’t rebound and is slower and less athletic than him…
Really love the supporting facts for his bad performance too! He played 8 minutes…if I played 8 minutes in that game I could’ve done that!
People need to get off the “Rose is better than Rondo” trip. Rose was picked #1 Rondo #21. Rose is good, but I’m afraid HE’S SUPPOSED TO BE!!! Rondo on the other hand already has a ring, should have two, will have 3 within the next 2 years and Rose ZERO!
Rondo will have played on an incredible legendary team and made it his own. Rose will not win with the team in CHI. Boozer will be just like another Barkley or Malone. Lots of points and no rings. Unless they change that team, Rose will be 30 with no championships, and Rondo will be laughing his way to another in 3 more years after the C’s rebuild…then we’ll see who’s afraid.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Good Catch. I guess that reporter wasn’t paying attention at all. Lol.
People say what they want to say, even when their paying absolutely no attention.
That was one thing I could never understand. If Rondo would of played that Spain game, he would of kicked ass. That game was tailor made for him. Why could we have not saw him. Oh well!
