Jermaine O’Neal, who missed both the first two exhibition games with a sore hamstring, was back at practice today. He will be a game-time decision for tomorrow’s game. Delonte West, whose back spasms flared up in New Jersey, also practiced.
Not in action was Shaq, who was given what Chris Forsberg termed “a maintenance day.” AKA a “he’s way too old to play back-to-backs, even in preseason, and needed a long break” day.
If any other news comes out regarding Shaq’s missed practice, I will share it later.
UPDATE: Avery Bradley practiced too. Has anyone in the history of basketball ever taken longer to recover from a sprained ankle?
