Garnett still questionable for tonight’s game

The sight of Garnett in uniform tonight would be gorgeous.

The return of Kevin Garnett is still very much up in the air following Boston’s morning shoot-around prior to tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets.
The C’s went through their usual pre-game walk through at the team’s practice facility, but Garnett was not on the floor.
While it might appear that Garnett won’t play tonight, it wouldn’t be the first time this season that a key player managed to suit up after not participating in the morning shoot-around.
In a recent blog post for the Chinese Sneaker company Anta’s website, Garnett noted he is “real close” to returning. A week ago, on the same blog, Garnett noted:
Just so everyone knows, I’m alright. I have a slight low leg injury, but working to stay in shape and get better. Got x-rays and MRI and things are good.
As A. Sherrod Blakely noted, Garnett missing the shootaround doesn’t necessarily mean he will miss tonight’s game. Doc Rivers previously said Garnett would need no practice time before his return. (ESPN Boston)
Asked if Garnett might need a practice to shake any rust, Rivers smiled and said: “We’re just going to throw him in. If he can’t remember the stuff, we’re in trouble.”
As Carlos Boozer can tell you, the Celtics could really use Garnett.
