Gerry Callahan: The Celtics don’t just beat you, they baffle you
Say hello to your 2010-11 Celtics, a team that doesn’t just beat you, it baffles you. If you play any pick-up basketball, you know how it feels to play against these Celts. They are the balding guy with the beer gut and the limp who walks into the gym and says he’s just looking for a workout. You match up with him because, well, look at him. How tough could he be? An hour later, you’re gasping for air and begging for mercy and just glad you didn’t play old Beer Gut Guy for money.
Oh, you mean you’re that Scott Skiles?
These Celtics don’t just defeat you, they demoralize you. If this were poker, you’d think they were cheating. If this were golf, you’d say they were being unsportsmanlike. If they were wearing another uniform, you’d hate them. On Sunday, they beat Miami for the third time in as many tries this season, and the Heat must have been spent the entire trip to Indiana (for tonight’s game) trying to figure out how they did it.
Read the rest of Callahan’s piece. I promise, you’ll love it.

While I don’t have the beer gut…I am that guy so beware when I show up on your court! You will hate how I defend you because I’ll actually do so and vigorously. Go Cs…

Remind me never to invite you to my pickup game, unless I have first pick.
