Ainge: Shaq will play Sunday or Tuesday

Okay, so this Shaq news is getting preposterous. Earlier today at the team’s shootaround, Doc Rivers wondered whether Shaq would return at all during the regular season. Now he might return in a few days?
Seriously, I’m almost at the point where I just pretend I don’t see Shaq updates, because they don’t seem to be at all worth discussing. He’ll return when he returns, and until then I’ll believe the updates like I believe, “If Bird were black, he would be just another good guy.”
According to Ben Rohrbach, Ainge also said, “With Shaq, our offense and defense has been better than it has been in four years. That tells you what he’s able to do.”
Shaq being healthy would change a lot. It really would. But I’ll believe it when I see it.
P.S. – For whatever reason, I’ve got a good feeling about tonight’s game. Then again, I also had a good feeling right before the Bobcats game, and that turned into the worst loss in the history of western civilization.

P.S. one thing I know for sure is that Kristic is absolute garbage. A tree could back him down. Start big baby bring kristic of the bench.

Nate, Krystic is a guy that you or I could score on in a pickup game at the YMCA (and I’m 5-9 with white man’s disease and 42 years old). Ainge is a monkey for trading Erdin while hoping on Krystic and the ONeals. Chris Johnson in the D-League is better than Krystic. CJ plays with confidence and athleticism, despite his beanpole frame.
Where did you get the Vegas odds? Is there a website? I might put one dollar on Shaq. I’m totally serious. I can part with a dollar, and if he actually shows up to play, does that mean I get 100 bucks in return? As you may guess, I”ve never been a gambler, not since the third grade when I lost my lunch money betting on Monday Night Football.
Is Shaq even hurt? Or is he busy with his TV show and whatnot?

Ainge is just spinning, spinning, spinning away. The Cs at their best in years with Shaq? Well yes, AT TIMES they were just monstrous with Shaq. At times. Ainge will need some Rumplestiltskin to make The Trade fly. His smoke and mirrors and mythmaking abilities won’t get it.
Listen, he’s now admitted publicly that the contract situation was the underlying reason for The Trade. WHY ARE YOU NOT ANGRY? How could that have had any bearing at all when we were in the midst of a hot championship hunt? Do you not get it? How can anyone justify that? Are we here to win championships, or to avoid contract problems?

@ Paul, I agree Ainge is just a fool. First of all, Shaq was okey starting but that was because the Big 4 came out with fire and passion for the season after loosing in game 7. Shaq was complemented by how well everyone was playing, not that he made the team better. I think Ainge has a young girlfriend and in love, that’s the only reason to explain his madness these past weeks. Only a person in love would wake up one day in such delusions. And Shaq, does that guy even want to come back as bad as we all want him to come back. for God’s sake his a 40 year old man with a new very young and very beautiful girlfriend who’s also on the verge of his reality show and what not….. So let’s see, who worked harder to come back for his beloved team and fans, Shaq or Perk? I can assure you that Perk would not be in the middle of shooting his reality show this time in the season. He would gladly say to VH1 that shooting will wait until season is done… Remember last time Shaq missed a game only to see him on some Live Tonight Show…Honestly such a fame whore is the guy we have now been rudeced to resting our championship hopes on? GO FIGURE
