Shaq rules himself out of Game 2

Though Doc Rivers called Shaq doubtful for tonight’s Game 2, The Green Mile ruled himself out.
“Shaq said that he’s not playing tonight,” tweeted A. Sherrod Blakely. “Arrived at America Airlines Arena with a noticeable limp.”
After Shaq participated in his first full-court scrimmage since Vietnam, soreness was expected. Rivers said Shaq looked “phenomenal” in the practice, which could be code for “I’m really surprised he didn’t re-aggravate his injury.”
At this point, all signs point to a Game 3 return for Shaq. Rivers previously said Shaq would play Game 3 “for sure.” As long as today’s soreness is run-of-the-mill soreness for a 39-year old, 360-pounder returning to a basketball court after a three-month layoff, I’d assume he’s still on the same path. Then again, I’ve learned not to expect anything from Shaq. Except speculation. And setbacks. Lots of setbacks.

“360-pounder returning to a basketball court after a three-month layoff”
On the C’s website roster he’s listed at 325.. most certainly didn’t layoff the cheeseburgers & ice cream.
This injury could’ve been shrunk to 3-5 weeks if they had put him on a regimented diet and conditioning plan… Who works for who here????

I seriously doubt that Shaq is currently 360. That’s a fallacy. Go Cs…

I doubt that too. More in the 335-340 range. Whatever it is he needs to get back on the court. Go Cs…
