Jeff Green could be cleared for practice today

Update via @RedsArmy_John: “Green on issues w/physical: ’I'm fine… I’m 110%… I don’t have any heart problems, I don’t have any injuries, so the rumors can stop’”

Jeff Green did not participate in Monday’s practice session after a physical prompted further medical testing. At Boston’s media day, Green said he hopes to return to practice today or tomorrow and was quite vague about his undisclosed medical issue (or non-issue, whatever it may be).

“I guess it was because I was kind of fatigued because I had a late day Thursday trying to get everything done and come in here,” said Green. “I didn’t sleep, my flight got delayed four hours. Got in here and had to do a physical, stress test. I think it was just fatigue.”

Green said the issue was not heart-related, but he did pinpoint the problem to a stress test he took as part of his physical.

Green says the issue is not heart related. But if you Google stress test, the first result that pops up says this (via WebMD):

A stress test can be used to test for heart disease. Stress tests are tests performed by a doctor and/or trained technician to determine the amount of stress that your heart can manage before developing either an abnormal rhythm or evidence of ischemia (not enough blood flow to the heart muscle). The most commonly performed stress test is the exercise stress test.

I’m not saying I’m a doctor. I’m not saying Google knows more than Green does about his own life. I’m not saying I know anything about this subject whatsoever. This failed physical is probably no big deal. Green’s probably being truthful that it’s not heart-related. I just want to point out the results of my Google search, for whatever they’re worth.

Sounds like more of a blood pressure issue. Usually stress from travel, lack of sleep and then going through the exam, would cause an elevation in it, and perhaps mostly a cautionary move to retest after Green is more settled. I doubt it’s anything serious.

Shouldn’t we be writing an article to rip Rondo and blame him for last year? After all, the name of the game is to worship Danny and Doc and the Big Three who NEVER do anything wrong, such geniuses they are. Oh and now we have to worship Jeff Green. Oh yeah, Danny’s 9 million dollar man.
