Rajon Rondo plans to play tonight

Via Boston Globe:
Rajon Rondo participated in the Celtics’ shootaround this morning and said he expects to play after an MRI on his right wrist was negative, revealing just a sprain. Rondo wore a splint on the wrist and said he’s been spending the past several hours in treatment.
“That’s the plan,” Rondo said when asked if he was going to play. “It’s OK. It gets better every day. Hopefully in a couple of hours it will be better than this.”
Damn it. I was really looking forward to 40 minutes of the Avery Bradley-Steve Nash matchup. (Wink, wink.)
Keyon Dooling remains out and “hinted” that Bradley is still expected to start. High fives all around.

Rondo is the only player I like on that team. The rest are either over the hill or washed up has-beens. If Rondo does not play, I can see Phoenix taking that game away.

As much as I love seeing RR play and excel I’d prefer that Bradley start and bring RR if needed. He needs to rest or at least take a couple of days off if injured. And Steve Nash will not run away from Bradley as AB can defend him and probably better than RR would. Go Cs…hit the boards and win again.
