Ray Allen leaves Wizards game with ‘jammed ankle’

https://twitter.com/#!/celtics/status/161167955848216576

Which brings to mind two questions:

1) Is a jammed ankle even a real injury?

2) Doesn’t Ray Allen coat himself with an extra layer of steel every year, which should preclude him from ever getting inured?

Seriously, Allen had double ankle surgery the season before he came to the Celtics. Let’s hope his jammed ankle is just minor.

Good getting a win though. Pietrus stepped in nicely for Ray. Pierce was amazing and KG was also pretty effective.
Let’s hope we can get everybody back soon. Felt the absence of Rondo tonight.

great great game pierce.. KG and bass as well.. but i really hope allen is back tomorow against magic… but damn we make some stupid mistakes.. i mean come on bradley 6 turnovers and 1 from 8 he played over 40 minutes… the bench is really looking weak especially when we were leading by 13.. But good game though…

Pietrus and Bass give us at least two solid players off the bench, and I think Bradley is a solid backup for Rondo. He assisted well today, and he played good D on Wall when it counted.
