The All-Star game is Feb. 26. The Celtics play 14 games before then. Perhaps this sore wrist is worse than originally expected.

   Wow. Just wow. He was having a possible break out season, though there were the usual consistency problems. Now he may not be back till halfway through the season, if that, and he’s lost his starting job to boot, if the Cs keep going like this. I know Rondo is glad the team is doing well, because he is a team guy, but it must hurt to be him right now.

   But I’m not exactly surprised. He got genuinely mugged on that play where he got hurt – the guy who hit him even followed through like it was a football hit – and he fell six feet through the air onto that wrist.
   It was almost as awful looking as the Wade take down.
