And then what happens with AB? He has thrived in the SG spot so far , so I say start him at the SG, bring RA behind him, and have MP come in behind PP.
MP’s height advantage at the SG is preferable to me. AB can spell RR and also be teamed with RR at times or in certain situations and MP can then play SF or be PP’s back -up depending on rotations. MP gives the Cs some great advantages at the SG in terms of 3 shooting, MP’s ability to take smaller SGs to the hoop and in rebounding. I like his versatility and it should be used more. Go Cs…
I agree. But I’m not 100% confident in AB’s ballhandling skills though. I think in the Atlanta game he was stripped twice in a row by Jeff Teague (who is a good PG) but you’re right, having RR and AB together on the floor would be very beneficial for athletic purposes and speeding the tempo of the game. MP reminds me of Lamar Odom in his heyday, except that he plays way better defense. I think he is starting to recognize the importance of rebounding as well. Didn’t he have 10+ rebounds in his last game? Too bad he will need time to heal himself before he can get back to that level.
So how do you guys feel about the NBA currently thinking about putting ads on the jerseys like soccer? Personally I don’t like it. It’ll send a message saying that we desperately need ratings.
Start AB and bring RA in off the bench and then keep it that way until MP is back and then MP should start at the SG spot. Go Cs…
