Ray Allen will play against Knicks with no limitations

Johnny Drama would love to have Ray Allen’s ginormous calves, but moving around with boulders on the back of your leg isn’t always good.

Allen blames his Plymouth Rock-sized calves for his recent health issues, telling CSNNE, “They’re always like the bane of my pain, of my existence, because I always feel tightness in there. When they do get tight, it keeps my ankles from moving.”

The good news is that Allen will return to the Celtics lineup tonight against the Knicks and shouldn’t have any limitations. An MRI revealed no structural damage and the swelling has disappeared. (Boston Herald)

“I ask what I need to know, and he’s ready to play,” Rivers said before shootaround at Madison Square Garden a short time ago. “There’s no minute restriction or anything. The swelling’s gone and he’s ready to play.”

“It just swelled on me,” he said. “After the Miami game (on April 10) it just blew up. There’s really no rhyme or reason.”

Go C;s! We need two to clinch over Philly and NY, right? Correct me if my math is off. If we clinch the fourth seed soon, I wonder if Doc will rest his guys for the final few games…..since it looks like Indiana is about to clinch the 3rd seed…

Pathetic effort, injuries aside, they SUCK tonight and quit as of the 8:30 mark of the 2nd QTR. PP 20 mins and ZERO rebs. And my fav, KD 7 mins…jacks three 3s (misses of course) and has a TO. But EM sits. Brilliant coaching Doc. Go Cs…hey idiots, JR smith is shooting 3s…why not guard him (7 of 9)???

For whatever reason, they mailed it in tonight. They aren’t gonna win this one. We have a chance to rebound against the magic tomorrow so…
They just seem so out of sync on DEFENSE ESPECIALLY like what the fuck do you expect when your opponent shoots 70% (literally) from 3?!?!?!

Cs finally guarding the 3-line and NY only has 1 in the 3rd qtr so far. Gotta actually guard players and not dbl-team which Doc always uses and I never can understand that lame strategy as someone is always open…tonight the Knicks 3-shooters. Just guard your man and we’d actually likely be in the game in the 1st half. Go Cs…

If We can cut this to singled digits a the en of the 3rd, we’ll have a chance. You’re definitely right on all accounts though. No double teams. It’s just like with the Magic. Limit the threes and attack the basket.

Maybe if PP gets a rebound in the game we can win it? Held the Knicks to 1-2 in 3s in the qtr….by playing man-to-man and not dbl-ing. We can win this but we have to stop digging holes like the first half. Go Cs…
