Ray Allen participates in shootaround; he and Josh Smith are game-time decisions

Currently, Mickael Pietrus is Boston’s designated sharp-shooter off the bench. His offensive contributions so far during the postseason have been best described by Doc Rivers: “He hasn’t made a shot, but he’s capable of making a shot, and the other team thinks he can make a shot. So we need that.”
Yes, the Celtics could certainly use Ray Allen.

MP needs to get his vision checked b/c he’s barely hitting the rim on some of these 3s he’s been launching up this season. I love ‘em on D, but please, MP, don’t shoot the 3!! Take the ball inside.
