Celtics all participate in morning shootaround

http://twitter.com/#!/celtics/status/201329382160216066

Ray Allen’s status remains uncertain. Paul Pierce still plans to play through his sprained MCL. First team to 70 probably wins tonight and every game this series.

I called the Cs in 5 games in the last series and they let me down. Now I am calling the same and they best get this series finished to rest up for the Heat. Go Cs and let’s see more GS, MD, EM and even…OMG…SP! Going to be fun…

As much as James using OMG amuses me he’s right. Pavlovic needs to play some big minutes in this series. I’d say C’s in six because there might be that one game where they don’t come out with 100% intensity.

Despite the injuries it’s been a good playoffs. The Memphis-clippers series Could become a classic for the next 4-5 years, the Fakers cant implode on themselves fast enough, Our guys doing well, and the Pacers-Heat could go to 7 games.

heat pacers going seven is a stretch, but good playoffs so far… lets go Denver!

I got the Celts in six again, and first to 70 sounds about right.

This series is little more scarier, the sixers have a solid bench and a bunch of young fresh legs. Plus pierce will have to work his butt of on D again sticking Andre Iguodala and will be put to the test offensively because iggi is one of the better defenders in the league.

Rondo is the key, hope he takes the match up with
Holiday as series as he would against Rose, and goes out there and wills the Celts to victory throughout this series… GO CELTS.

Agree with comments above, that we need to use lots of younger, fresher, uninjured players to keep up with the Sixers “track meet.” With Ray and Paul hurt, it’s not going to be an easy series. Please, Doc, use the young guys!

Has anyone read Bill Simmons’ piece on Paul Pierce and how he ranks in NBA and Celtics history? If you haven’t it’s an eloquently-put article. Probably the best ESPN piece I’ve read in a while.
