Video: Ray Allen’s press conference live at noon

(Update: The initial version of this post had the original press conference time, 11 a.m. Then the presser was moved to 12:30 p.m. After another change, Allen is now reportedly set for a noon presser. The rest of this post reflects the initial time.)

Just know, I won’t be watching live. I have a date with Jared Sullinger, E’Twaun Moore, Jonathan Gibson and Kris Joseph at 11 a.m. on NBA TV.

Allen’s gone. The rookies aren’t. I’ll check up on Allen’s comments later, but I don’t expect him to say anything particularly interesting or enlightening — to reveal his innermost thoughts would be to deviate drastically from his career-long path of diplomacy.

(Thanks for the video stream, CSNNE)

Certainly, not ‘must see TV’. Who is this guy? That’s my attitude and I will never use his name or initials ever again in any C-Town comments. Go Cs… go rookies!

It was quite the dreary passive aggressive affair, wasn’t it? “My decision wasn’t about Rondo (I hate Rondo) … I love KG and Paul (I hate Rondo) … I did it for my family (I hate Rondo)”. Pathetic.

And you’d almost think that Ray would have thought to thank Rondo for all those assists and for his help breaking the all time record, no small thing, but no.

So I think we got your message, Ray. He Hate Rondo.

It was like watching your ex girlfriend change her facebook status to ” in a relationship” and then realizing is dating with that guy you always felt was hitting on your ex , but she won’t stop saying she hate him and is the ugliest guy in the planet, etc. But yet, there she is… Damn you Ray, that was painful to watch

Hey guys, what about C.J. Leslie? The Bulls aren’t bringing him back next year. He’d salary was gonna be 3.2 million next year. It’s a toss up between him and Lee but i think I’d rather sve Leslie.

Says he’s still at NC State and stayed in school (4/18 article I read) –

Plays different position, too. I hope we get Lee as our backcourt will be KILLER then. Go Cs…

Still prefer Lee because of his ht, rebounding, better 3 shooting and better defense options with a player of his size. I hope DA gets this done. Go Cs…
