Carlos Delfino drawing Boston Celtics’ interest, Courtney Lee ‘too pricey,’ according to report

I suppose the Celtics could do worse than Carlos Delfino, who started 53 out of 54 games played last season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Still, I feel like throwing a temper tantrum, chucking my Lego blocks off the wall and wailing, “But Mommy, I don’t want any of these brussels sprouts! I want Courtney Lee!”

Well we’ve done worse signings before (Ryan Hollins) but he’ll help, even if his primary role is getting Rondo off his feet for 10 mins. Sooo excited for The Dark Knight Rises!!! I don’t even know if a repeat of game 7 of the ECF with our current roster could pull me away from it.

It’s up to Lee to accept less to start for awhile and play for a title contender and then parlay a year or two into a fatter contract once the Cs have his Bird rights. Delfino looks OK but I’m with you Jay…I want Lee! Go Cs…

Dude!! Sam Jones, the man with 10 NBA championships with the C’s, went to NCCU…I live a stone’s throw from there! That’s insane!

This sounds like another bust. Delfino? I would prefer the one and only Allen Iverson if he is available. Sure he would like the chance to play with Rondo, KG, Pierce and the Jet Miami Heat Killa. I’m hanging out on TDKR as well but not more than I was Prometheus. Should be another epic.

I would go for Iverson too. We were gona go for him before he signed with Memphis a while back. He would be good for us because of his ball handling skills, because DOoling, Bradley, etc can’t match his handling skills. We need a backup PG, and Delfino is a SG.

Delfino is a great player. He can score, defend, is 6´7 but he can play like a SG, a SF or a PG (for limited minutes). But the C´s don´t have enough money for him…

For God’s sake, let’s sign Pietrus and Dooling. Those guys were important to us last year. No, they aren’t the best players in the league. But they can fill the roles we need, and they have a lot of spirit.

Delfino is better player. He plays SG o SF o PG. He plays in Argentina’s national team a do it with great numbers along Manu and Scola. Great movement if it’s done

I could have told you that Courtney Lee was over past Boston’s league. Carlos Delfino would be a great pickup for the Celtics. He will probably not be that expensive considering the fact that he did not play that great in Milwaukee. he was a very streaky shooting only averaging less than ten points per game shooting less that .400 from the field as a starter; however, as a Buck, he proved to be a solid defensive stopper. he’s certainly a better option than Mikael Pietrus.
