Announcement: Celtics Town bringing King of the Court podcast to CLNS Radio

Listen to internet radio with Celtics Town on Blog Talk Radio

During the next few weeks of the Boston Celtics offseason, Ty Ray and I will continue to co-host our King of the Court podcast sporadically. But on Monday, Sept. 3, changes will be made. We’re combining forces with CLNS Radio and will begin broadcasting weekly at 9 p.m. ET.

For you listeners here at Celtics Town, the change won’t have much of an impact except to designate a certain time every week when you have to ditch your girlfriends, children or jobs. You’ll still be able to listen live here at Celtics Town and download the show here once it’s processed. You’ll still be able to call in to the show if you want or bash it in the comments section if you please. The switch will simply help us expand our audience, a good thing.

So if nothing is changing for you, why am I making this announcement?

Mostly because Nick Gelso of CLNS Radio wrote some absurdly nice words about me. He’s a liar and a master of hyperbole, but I thank him nonetheless.

I’m all for loyalty to players, but loyalty goes both ways. Now that Paul Pierce has made it clear that he intends to try free agency, I think the Cs should certainly be open to trading him.
