Keyon Dooling, who announced his retirement, reportedly wants to play for the Miami Heat
When the Boston Celtics waived Jermaine O’Neal last season, he was rumored to have interest in joining the Miami Heat. Only one minor problem existed within that theory: O’Neal had suffered a season-ending injury and wasn’t well enough to return to the basketball court for the season’s remainder.
So when noise arised that Keyon Dooling now has interest in joining the Heat two days after retiring from the Boston Celtics, one might strongly consider viewing it with skepticism. (Orlando Sentinel)
Former Magic G Keyon Dooling announced he was retiring — at least for a few minutes. Word is he’d be interested in joining the Heat. Who isn’t?
It’s possible Dooling was pushed out the door in Boston to make way for Dionte Christmas and Kris Joseph both to make the roster. (Notice I wrote “possible” rather than “probable” or “likely.” It’s also possible a UFO landed on my front lawn last night without my knowing.) Still, if he signs with the Miami Heat this season, I’ll go into the Octagon with Jon “Bones” Jones.

What a complete turn around!! I doubt that he will even play with the Heat. The tean’s already rather deep in the backcourt. Stay retired, Keyon. you’re only making yourself look bad if you continue this way

He was pushed out because Cs mgmt. have been watching all the workouts prior to camp and they understand what we have in KJ & Xmas. KD’s game sucked, still sucks and hopefully it’ll suck with the Heat, as he’d be just another turncoat. Really glad he’s gone as his only value was helping RR and now RR needs only KG/PP and JT who will continue mentoring his great progress as the best PG in the league. Go Cs…love our team!

This guy definitely wasn’t the heart and soul of the Celtics. Probably good he gone. The only thing I would hold against him if he joins the Heat is that he would be a liar. And if you fight JJ, Mr King, beat the living daylights outta him. Sick and tired of the likes of him and the Spider winning every match. So boring.
